Another Successfully Year for NEW TECH LAB!

We are wrapping up another 12 months of intensive work, the results of which impact not only the current development of NEW TECH LAB but also the years ahead in the field of recycling and disposal of fire extinguisher waste. Why was 2024 such a successful year for our company?

Integrated Quality Management System

The most important event of the past year was the implementation of an integrated quality management system, which incorporates the previously adopted ISO 9001 standard and, in early December, obtaining ISO 14001 and 50001 quality certificates.

From the very beginning, quality has been a key competitive factor for NEW TECH LAB in the market of recycling and disposal of fire extinguisher waste. That’s why the integrated quality management system is so important for the company’s development. It influences many areas, including further enhancement of employee competencies, improving workplace safety, increasing the quality of our services and products, and taking additional steps to protect the natural environment.

Małopolska employer supporting employee development!

Another significant event for our company was receiving the Małopolska Economic Award in the “Małopolska Employer Supporting Employee Development” category from the Regional Labour Office in Krakow. This award recognizes the efforts made to enhance the skills of NEW TECH LAB’s team through specialized training programs for employees across various departments.

For NEW TECH LAB, this is a great distinction and a confirmation of our active support for employees. Thanks to these efforts, our small team has made significant contributions to the continuous development of innovative and green technologies that enable the recycling of fire extinguisher waste and the production of the reprocessed extinguishing powder NTL GREEN. It is worth noting that our company’s innovative product has also received a green certificate from the Dutch Keurmerkinstituut, confirming its ecological credentials throughout the production process.

Supporting local initiatives

Our company is also actively involved in local initiatives that support economic development. One such initiative in 2024 was a meeting between business representatives and local authorities in Skawina to discuss connecting the city’s bypass with the A4 motorway. This solution is important for the development of local businesses, including transport and logistics, and has a significant ecological aspect.

Supporting the initiative to connect Skawina’s bypass with the A4 motorway is also part of our corporate social responsibility. Through this, we aim to promote social development and the growth of other enterprises operating in Skawina. Better connectivity also means improved quality of life for residents and easier commutes for employees working in Skawina’s three Economic Activity Zones.

Industry conferences and events

In 2024, NEW TECH LAB also participated in key events supporting business development, particularly in the waste management sector. One recurring event is the Polish Circular Forum in Warsaw, where members of the Circular Economy and Recycling Cluster from across Poland discuss potential directions for supporting the circular economy. It also provides an opportunity to discuss proposed legal solutions to facilitate the adoption of green technologies in waste management, including fire extinguisher waste.

Locally, our company also participated in the “Małopolska Open to Knowledge” Conference. A major topic here was the sustainable development of companies in the Małopolska region, which requires the implementation of critical elements of a circular economy strategy. Our company incorporates such actions in the recycling of fire extinguisher waste and the production of the reprocessed extinguishing powder NTL GREEN. The result is resource conservation and further reduction of CO2 emissions.

We are partners of sports events

Corporate social responsibility is not only about economic or transport initiatives—it’s also about sports, which foster social development by uniting different communities, promoting physical activity, and caring for mental health. That’s why we believe supporting sports events plays a key role in promoting noble ideas and values.

In 2024, NEW TECH LAB was a partner of the Katowice International World Cup football tournament and a sponsor of the Italian team. The event brought together 24 teams from countries such as Algeria, Angola, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, India, Italy, Mexico, Morocco, Nigeria, Palestine, Poland, Spain, Sudan, Tunisia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, and Zimbabwe. The teams were composed of players living in Poland, supporting the ideas of mutual respect and fair play.

The second sporting event NEW TECH LAB partnered with was a swimming competition for children called “I’m Already Swimming,” held at the indoor pool of the Sports Championship School Complex in Krakow. This was the result of excellent cooperation between our company and the Student Sports Club SMS Galicja Kraków, which is the main organizer of the event.

We believe that this is a particularly important topic nowadays, which will allow us to build a common, green future.

    In addition to our business goals, we have been placing strong emphasis on educational activities for a long time. We share our vision of running a business in a circular economy, we promote proper and professional disposal of firefighting waste, but we also emphasize how important it is to develop common environmental awareness. Thanks to this, all together we can change a lot around us and ensure that our planet can take a deep breath.

    As a company, we have established the NewTechLab Academy, thanks to which we treat education as part of our business. Regardless of whether we start cooperation with new contractors or open new directions for business development, we always pass on knowledge about how we operate, how we use green technologies, and what we can do together so that we have a clean natural environment around us.

    NewTechLab Academy is also an opportunity to pass on knowledge about green technologies to the young generation. Therefore, as a company, we are open and ready to support environmental education through cooperation with institutions and schools. It is the young generation that is our future and it is worth investing in their educational development.

    The first NewTechLab Academy meetings are behind us. One of them took place in Milan. It was there that Silvio Bucci, the president of our company, had the opportunity to present the most important assumptions of professional disposal of fire extinguishing waste during a meeting with NewTechLab partners. By showing how the proper disposal of firefighting waste works, we promote good business practices and confirm that green technologies are not only our future, but also a space for dynamic development.
