NEW TECH LAB supports the initiative to connect Skawina’s bypass with the A4 motorway
Representatives of NEW TECH LAB participated in a meeting of entrepreneurs with the authorities of the town and municipality of Skawina regarding the connection of the city bypass with the A4 motorway. This is a very important initiative not only for residents but also for companies operating in the three Economic Activity Zones in Skawina.
The meeting was led by the Mayor of Skawina, Norbert Rzepisko, who presented the main assumptions of the idea to connect Skawina’s bypass with the A4 motorway, as well as the content of the petition addressed to the Kraków branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways. Among the business representatives operating in Skawina were also members of NEW TECH LAB: Silvio Bucci – board member, Łukasz Piątkiewicz – general director, Iana Stepnevska – head of the laboratory, and Krzysztof Witowski – development manager. The meeting ended with the signing of the prepared petition by the attending entrepreneurs. The signature of NEW TECH LAB board member Silvio Bucci was also added.
The initiative to connect the Skawina and Kraków bypasses (A4 motorway) is extremely important due to the development of local companies, including transport and logistics, as well as ecological aspects. At present, access to the Skawina junction takes a lot of time and causes troublesome traffic jams. Besides traffic difficulties and time lost, the current situation also causes additional air pollution.
NEW TECH LAB supports the initiative to connect Skawina’s bypass with the A4 motorway not only for significant economic reasons but also for important social aspects. Better communication means a higher quality of life for residents, but also greater opportunities for the development of local businesses and the creation of new jobs in Skawina.
