NTL GREEN and the corporate sustainability report

Every company using ABC powder extinguishers will eventually face the question of how to manage expired devices and replace their powder charge. The choice of powder supplier is not merely a technical decision — it is a choice with a direct impact on the sustainability report and ESG disclosures.

NTL GREEN, the regenerated ABC extinguishing powder produced by NEW TECH LAB, is made from powders recovered from expired extinguishers. The regeneration process — carried out in the company’s in-house laboratory certified to ISO 9001:2015 — enables a certified product to be returned to the market, fully compliant with EN 615:2009 and with performance equivalent to virgin powder.

The measurable benefit for client companies is concrete: according to NEW TECH LAB’s internal estimates, the production of NTL GREEN generates a reduction in CO₂ emissions exceeding 80% compared to the equivalent production of virgin powder. This figure translates directly into a documentable contribution to the E (Environmental) component of corporate ESG reports.

How NTL GREEN supports CSRD reporting and ESG objectives

Regulatory pressure on companies regarding environmental reporting is growing steadily across Europe. The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) progressively extends mandatory ESG reporting to an increasing number of European businesses, requiring verifiable data on emissions, waste management and procurement choices.

Choosing NTL GREEN as the ABC powder for company extinguishers allows businesses to:

  • Reduce Scope 3 emissions linked to material purchases, by documenting the choice of a regenerated product over a virgin one
  • Contribute to circular economy objectives declared in the sustainability report
  • Demonstrate alignment with European Green Deal principles through traceable and certified procurement decisions
  • Obtain verifiable documentation through NTL GREEN’s EN 615:2009 certification and NEW TECH LAB’s BDO traceability system

For companies subject to ESG audits or participating in public tenders with green procurement criteria, using a certified regenerated product such as NTL GREEN represents a concrete and documentable added value.
